About Us @ SRI SAI TRUST

Why SST

Even after independence we still find so many inequalities in our society. Many people came forward and many are still making incessant efforts to eradicate them in all possible ways. Even our government is implementing various schemes for the upliftment of economically and socially backwarded people.

A number of charitable trusts, foundations, NGO's, Christian Missionaries etc. have been established to give their helping hand for the service of helpless people like orphans, mentally & physically challenged people and also aged people. Some of the above organizations are providing quality education for poor students at free of cost. Some other organizations are offering quality medical aid for the poor at free of cost. In this way a lot of people are doing their best for the wellbeing of the entire mankind without any selfish motives.

Unless there is some relationship or connection, nobody goes anywhere. If any man or creature comes to you, do not discourteously drive them away, but receive them well and treat them with due respect.
— Sri Sadguru Sai, Sai Satcharitra

In the same line, by the intuition of Sri Samartha Sadguru Sainath Maharaj, Sri Sai Trust was established in the year 2015 with the intention of making an effort to provide Social Training like,

  • How to deal with people?
  • How to deal with problems?
  • How to cope up with stress?
  • How to build the “+'ve self” Concept?
  • How should one get educated? etc.

And Spiritual Training like,

  • Who is God?
  • Who is Guru?
  • What are the differences between god and guru?
  • What is the purpose of human life?
  • How to fulfil the purpose of our life?
  • How should one live to make his life fruitful?
  • Importance of Repetitive chanting of the name ‘Sai’ etc.

We believe that through proper Training on the above two aspects from childhood we can make one to lead a healthy, happy and more importantly balanced life.

OUR VISION

To establish a new society where people think that

  1. All living beings are nothing but incarnations of The Almighty God, the creator of the universe, the supreme-mind who possesses the finest creative abilities. He has created all of us and all that is revealed in nature. We are elevated to be called his creation.
  2. Everyone must follow the principle that “Humanity is our true religion” and should not have any inequalities among them.

“We Born like a human being so.....We should
Grow like a human being,
Live like a human being,
Die like a human being",
So that we can become "IMMORTAL".

OUR MOTTO

stretching a helping hand for the service and upliftment of the helpless, the destitute, and those who are deserved....

Helping Hand

with the intention of “Maanava Sevaye Sadguru Seva”. Thus serving god for the attainment of self-realization, which is the supreme end of life.

The Team

We take on common problems in our life. We want to make a real impact.

The entire team of the Trust aims at the fullfilment of various objectives laid down for the Trust and also puts sincere efforts in carrying out different tasks assigned by our Patron from time to time. We value the lives of all beings. Our team is Value-Driven. We all work for Self-satisfaction and Inner peace but not for Name and Fame.

Board of Trustees

Right from its beginning, Sri Sai Trust has been incredibly fortunate in the calibre of its trustees. No Trust can be run successfully without wisdom, integrity, Reliability and vision and our Trustees have demonstrated those qualities from time to time in their decision-making. We’re all trying to make the world a better place.

It is solely an intensive motivation of Bhagavan Sri Samartha Sadguru Sainath Maharaj that has led to the establishment of the Trust. It was thought long before I got a call from the sadguru. But, I couldn't put my fullest effort towards it since I had been busy with my personal & professional commitments. Later, my health started degenerating so fast that I underwent a major surgery. I had to face the toughest time as it suddenly turned against me. Moreover, my financial crisis added fuel to the fire, throwing my family into a helpless state. But, I continued to have steadfast and invincible faith in my Guru during the unfavorable circumstances. Later, my health has become stabilized to some extent by His grace and to my surprise, things started turning so favourable that the Trust was established within a short period of time.

After registration of the trust many people said to me, “How can you run the Trust when you don’t have sufficient money even to run your family? What is the need of all these things for you? Why don’t you live happily with your family with your earnings?”

People, who were born with no arms and legs( Tetra-Amelia or Hanhart syndrome-Nick Vujicic ), are also living their life happily and moreover, they are inspiring so many people. But we are blessed with all the healthy parts and so much effort can be made by us. This was the idea which my guru gave me long before that drives me. I strongly believe that the following are my resources to make this trust fruitful and purposeful.

  • Educational Pedagogy
  • Technological Knowledge
  • Interest & Willingness to learn new things to give the best.
  • My Students community all around the World.
  • People who are willing to serve but unable to do so due to unfavourable circumstances in life.
  • Above all, our patron’s omnipresence, omnipotence, omniscience shower blessings on me to have his companionship.

Trustee B.Tech, MS

I am Kiran. I was born in Tirupati and grew up in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana, India. I have completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and moved to the United States to pursue higher education. I graduated from the University of California with a master’s in computer engineering and am currently working at the City University of New York as an IT professional.

Right from my childhood, I always wanted to help the less fortunate. I love teaching or offering help to someone who needs it. It gives me immense satisfaction and peace when I can guide others, be it emotionally, financially, or educationally. Thus, when I heard about the idea of Sri Sai Trust from the founder trustee, I was excited to be part of such a wonderful ideology and project.

I am fortunate enough to have a person like the founder trustee in my life. After my parents, he is the person who directed, guided and motivated me to be in my present position. I seek support and guidance from him in all my difficulties. I feel relaxed when I talk to him during the time of difficulty. When I suffer from ill health, he suggests homeopathy medicine with which I tend to get immediate relief. As far as I know he is a kind, generous, ambitious, trustworthy, determined and dependable positive person. I also believe in the ability of Sadguru Sai, who is the cause and patron of the Trust, to run the Trust in an organised manner. In fact, I think everyone needs some help and support at a certain point of time in their life during tough times. I am blessed by Sadguru Sai to be one of the trustees without expecting name and fame. I am always ready to extend my helping hand to the needy and the deserved as it fundamental principle of the trust.

My purpose here is to share with you what I have discovered about the pursuit of happiness. In addition to playing my role towards fundraising for the Trust, I also would like to teach and share my knowledge to the innocent and creative minds. I have a lot of liberty and independence to put my ideas into practice and would like to thank the founder trustee for giving me this opportunity.

Our Patron

Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian omnipotent spiritual master who was regarded by his devotees as a saint, fakir, and sadguru, according to their individual proclivities and beliefs. He always uttered “Allah Malik” (“God is King”). He preached the importance of realization of the self and criticized love towards perishable things. His teachings concentrate on a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace and devotion to God and Guru. He stressed the importance of surrender to the true Sadguru, who leads the disciple to the path of divine consciousness through the jungle of spiritual training.

What is new in the world? Nothing. What is old in the world? Nothing. Everything has always been and will always be.....
— Sri Sadguru Sai, Sai Satcharitra

Sai Baba also condemned distinction based on religion and caste. His teachings combined elements of Hinduism and Islam: he gave the Hindu name Dwarakamayi to the mosque in which he lived, practised both Hindu and Muslim rituals, taught using words and figures that drew from both traditions and took samadhi in Shirdi. He is revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during and also after his lifetime. One of his well known epigrams, “Sabka Malik Ek” (“One God governs all”), is associated with Hinduism, Islam and Sufism. He was said to be an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya.

Sai Baba emphasised the importance of performing one's duties without attachment to earthly matters and of being content regardless of the situation. Sai Baba encouraged his devotees to pray, chant God's name, and read holy scriptures. He was impressed by the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita and encouraged people to follow it in their own lives. He advised his devotees and followers to lead a moral life, help others, love every living being without any discrimination, and develop two important features of character: FAITH (Shraddha) and PATIENCE (Saburi).

Sai baba of shirdi reported many miracles. He performed many miracles such as levitation, bilocation, materialization, reading of people's mind, entering a tomb at his own will, removal of body parts and affixing them again including intestines. Took rebirth after 3 days, cured the ill, and saved the people by stopping the falling mosque. There are hundreds of miracles reported at shirdi by shirdi sai baba. People believe that reading sai charitra is good for all types of problems in the family and all health issues.

In August 1918, Shirdi Sai Baba told some of his devotees that he would soon be "leaving his mortal body" (dying). Towards the end of September, he had high fever and stopped eating. As his condition deteriorated, he asked his disciples to recite holy texts to him and continued to meet visitors. On 15 October 1918, he breathed his last. The day coincided with the Hindu calendar date that year for Vijayadashami. His remains were interred at "Buti Wada'' in Shirdi, after which it became a place of worship known today as Shree Samadhi Mandir of Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.
